Welp, that will help the 5v5 numbers, but really, two extra ppg.

Gotta close this one out. Oh, and stay healthy.

Two not powerplay goals for the powerplay, plus one on the powerplay don't mind if we do from that period. Up until the last 5 or 6 minutes we'd not been cohesive in our offensive play, those late powerplays helped a little. If we can get some time on the puck and take time from them this next period we've got it sorted.

If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.

If we have to listen to Hrudey then unleash Louie and bring in Michaels.

Never has a bias been so apparent. Bury them. End the series and wait for Vancouver/Nashville

I had to laugh at the Doughty slash because that was legit, but after the junk officiating the rest of the game, I can understand the frustration.

Hated Bieksa as a player, but I do appreciate the analysis he brings to the panel.

I like that he makes Friedman look like a tool. Elliott does it on his own, but Kevin amplifies his douchery.

I want the trainer to shove a smelling salt up both Bouchard nostrils before puck drop in the third.

Right now is not the time for passive Evan in his own end. Dude gives me fits.

Passive Evan has 3 points and has been on the ice for 0 scoring chances against 5v5. Try hard Ceci has been out for 1 GA and 6 scoring chances against vs weaker competition. Maybe give him the salts.

I have zero heartburn about his play on the other side of the red line.

Not looking good for the Kings. Oilers smell blood and are playing well.

Hope they don’t get cheap.

Maybe 2 goal dif is ideal. Kings gotta focus totally on scoring. No time for cheap stuff.

True. If they were getting blown out it might be different.

If it was a one goal game, nerves could creep in.

This is good.

Final five for the oilers. Legit just hang on. Don’t do anything crazy fancy and don’t do anything stupid to turn over the puck. Play some safe hockey, and this game should be ours

Didn't they have 12 shots in the 1st?
5 shots in the 2nd.
1 shot 3/4 of the way through the 3rd.

I mentioned that we've been great at shutting teams down when defending a lead. There's some proof of that (hope I don't jinx it!)

The way they’ve played this third period isn’t something we have seen much of the last few years. Love to see it and greatly hope they can do it for another 5 minutes and change for a pant launching!

They are definitely one of the greatest playoff duos ever. Both sitting at #2 all time in Pts/Gm at 1.611. Even better than Lemieux at 1.607. And the guy we all expect to see at #5, the great Barry Pederson?

As for Leon - he looks twice as fast as I've ever seen him. Looks angry all the time out there too. I love it.
