Pace has quickened throughout the 1st. Hyman hauled down on a potential breakout and then a late cheap Bruins PP.
Not crying for the Oilers. The inconsistency of calls has to be difficult for every player on every team. Either tuck the whistle away, set a standard or call everything. Just be consistent.

After 2 periods I have observed.
Janmark and Kane need to be stapled to the bench at 5 v 5.
Desharnais looks solid. Wish he had some offence in him because he’s just getting better and better as he gets comfortable in the NHL.
Holloway needs to be elevated to a top 6 spot.
Skinner is dialed in and 97 and 29 want this game.

...the PK is back to being more agressive on the puck instead of waiting for the oppostion to set up in prime shooting positions. That is what worked during 'the streak'...
